Psychotherapy &
counselling

Individual sessions, couples therapy and family counselling — at the practice in central Thessaloniki or online.

Every request arrives in its own way. Someone comes because they no longer sleep. A couple come after ten years of the same argument. Someone else comes because they were given a diagnosis and do not know where to put it.

The setting is not fixed in advance. It follows from the clinical assessment of the first meeting, based on what best serves the request — and it can change along the way if the picture changes. It is not unusual for work to begin individually and continue as a couple, or the other way round.

Step by step

What to expect

  1. First contact. A phone call. A short conversation is enough to see whether and how we can work together, and to arrange the first meeting.
  2. First meeting: history and clinical assessment. I listen to what brings you here, take a history and we make a first clinical appraisal. You do not need to have "classified" the problem — that is part of the work.
  3. Setting the framework. We agree goals, frequency and setting (individual, couples, family). The framework is an agreement, not an imposition.
  4. The therapeutic process. Sessions of 50 minutes, combining the tools of the cognitive behavioural approach with emotional processing.
  5. Review. At regular intervals we look together at what has changed and what is still needed — including when therapy comes to an end.
In person or onlineAt the practice in central Thessaloniki — serving the wider region — or online from anywhere in the world, with the same way of working and the same duration. Sessions are held in Greek and in English.
In crisis? Psychotherapy is not an emergency service. If you are thinking of harming yourself or someone else, do not wait for an appointment: call 1018 (Suicide Intervention Line, 24/7), 10306 (Psychological Support Line) or 112.
