The nature of the content

The content of this website is informational and psychoeducational. It does not constitute a diagnosis, a treatment instruction or a substitute for a session with a mental health professional, and it does not create a therapeutic relationship. No decision about your health should be based solely on what you read here.

Emergencies

This website and its contact form are not an emergency service and are not monitored around the clock. In a crisis, in Greece call 1018 (Suicide Intervention Line, 24/7), 10306 (Psychological Support Line) or 112.

Appointments and cancellations

Sessions are by appointment and last 50 minutes. The time is reserved exclusively for you. Cancellations are accepted without charge given at least 24 hours' notice; there is flexibility for sudden health emergencies. The fee is stated before the first session and a receipt for services is always issued.

Limits of the service

  • No medication is prescribed, altered or discontinued: prescribing is a medical act and belongs solely to the psychiatrist.
  • No medical opinions or certificates for medical use are issued.
  • No expert reports are prepared for legal use, and no opinions are given in custody proceedings: the therapeutic role and the expert witness role are incompatible.
  • Where a request exceeds the framework or specialism of this practice, a referral is made to an appropriate professional or service.

Every effort is made to keep the content accurate and current, without any warranty of completeness. The website may link to external pages, for whose content no responsibility is accepted.

Intellectual property

The texts, artwork and design of this website are protected by copyright law. Citation with a clear reference to the source is permitted; reproduction or republication without permission is not.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of Thessaloniki have jurisdiction.
