Couples &
Family

When the request is not "what is wrong with me" but "what is happening to us". Here the therapist takes nobody's side: they take the side of the relationship.

Couples and families: the work happens in the space between, not inside anyone.

What changes with more than one person

In individual sessions we work with what happens inside a person. Here we work with what happens between. And "between" has its own rules: being right is not enough, because being right rarely resolves a cycle that repeats.

My role is not to judge who is at fault. It is to make the cycle visible: what one does that activates the other, what fear hides behind the attack, what need behind the withdrawal. Once the cycle is visible, it stops being automatic.

Work with couples draws on emotionally focused therapy (EFT), which sees the relationship as a bond and conflict as a protest against distance. Work with families adds the systemic view: roles, boundaries, generations, and stories passed from one to the next.

Sessions last 50 minutes. Depending on the request there may also be individual meetings with each side — with a confidentiality framework agreed explicitly from the start.

Choose a setting

In person or onlineAt the practice in central Thessaloniki — serving the wider region — or online from anywhere in the world, with the same way of working and the same duration. Sessions are held in Greek and in English.
In crisis? Psychotherapy is not an emergency service. If you are thinking of harming yourself or someone else, do not wait for an appointment: call 1018 (Suicide Intervention Line, 24/7), 10306 (Psychological Support Line) or 112.
